Sit back relax and let the train take the strain on one of the UK’s most wonderful scenic train journeys from Inverness to the Kyle of Lochalsh. Enjoy a ‘Seal Island’ Cruise on Loch Linnhe, see if you can spot some of Scotland’s best wildlife while learning about local history and culture. Take a coach Safari at Rothiemuchus Estate with a ranger onboard, enjoy wonderful estate views with a chance to get close to resident highland cattle and magnificent red deer.

Itinerary:
Monday
Depart Leyland at 08.00hrs for our journey to Newtonmore with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Arrive at the hotel to a warm welcome while your case is taken to your room.
Tuesday - Thursday
Today we take a scenic journey to enjoy mountain views as we head into the heart of the Cairngorm National Park to Dalwhinnie Distillery, the highest distillery in Scotland at 1164 feet above sea level. Later re-join the coach to journey to meet a Ranger for a Coach Safari the Rothiemurchus Estate, Aviemore
Today we travel to Inverness to take a single rail journey to the beautiful Kyle of Lochalsh, the main gateway to the Isle of Skye. This journey is one of the most scenic in the UK traversing through dramatic Highland mountains with views of serene lochs, and moorlands before reaching the Skye coast. Enjoy a little free time to take in the views before joining the coach for the scenic journey back to the hotel via a photo stop at the Commando Monument at Spean Bridge.
Today we head to Fort William with free time to explore, obtain lunch and take a Seal Island Cruise on Loch Linnhe to enjoy magnificent views.
Friday
Check out of the hotel following breakfast for the return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
